MEETING OF ASSOCIATION.
Tho monthly meeting of tha St. Albans Burgesses' Association was held on Tuesday evening, Air L. A. Gordon presiding. Mr Ual.ey gave a rerr??* on his conference with the health ollkeia with r.fcrenoe to dairies. It was decided that tie matter bo referred to tlra United Burgesses' Association for consideration, and that Mi- Dallcy bo a delegate to the meeting. The Tramway Board having granted the request for a now s»at at Colombo street north, the secretary was instructed to write to the Bca-rtl thanting litem for {he prompt manner in which the work was -lone. The St. Albans Kindergarten Association wrote uoking f»r financial assistance. It was decided to hold a special meeting in a fornighf's time, and that the Kindergarten Association bo invited to send tll.-lp.gats to confer as 13 the best wiy to rr.iso funds. A motion cf KVmpathv wns posted to Mr D. McGill, who had recently lest Lie daughter. Mr Hill gave notice of notion, "That '.he resolution on the minutes that th- Association gives it.4 sunpevt to the St. Albans T-nnis Club's appeal for p'aying grounds in the St. Albans Park be rescinded." It wa3 decided to write to the City Council drawing attention to the dangrrous of the footpaths in Colombo street, near Dean fcireet and Edgovrs.re road.
