THE LATE MR MAURICE HARRIS.

—4 The funeral of the late Maurice Harris, who passed away on Wednesday morning, took place yesterday. At the residence of the deceased a large number of relatives and sympathisers gathered. A short service was conducted at the graveside by the Bev. Mr Fitkowski, of Wellington. No flowers were placed on the coffin by request. The pall-bearers were Messrs Alfred Louisson, Cecil Louisson, S. Jacobs, J. Ballin, O. Ballin, and Hollander. Others present were Messrs P. Seiig (manager of the Christchurch Press Co., Ltd.), A. B. Jordan (District Public Trustee), C. Ferguson (accountant for Harris Bros.), T. Wardrop, J. O. Jameson, Bothemberg, M. Davis, J. Wallace, E. Boulton, F. Jacobs, and Ballin.
