The trouble arising from the high cost of food, which has beeln smouldering for several days, resulted in serious rioting throughout the city. Many shops and restaurants were plundered. The police frequently charged with drawn sabres, and fired on the crowds. Many arrests war* made. The casualties were numerous. Mounted police are patrolling the disturbed areas. BERLIN, November 13. Considerable disorder and shop plundering, the outcome of Communist propaganda, is reported from Dusseldorf.
