(PHESS ASSOCIATION TELIGRAM.) NELSON, April 15. The New Zealand Gonference.of. the Church, of Christ,, under the presidency of the Rev. H. Long (Wellington) was opened to-day. The Foreign Mission report showed that there were eleven stations in Belihgwe under the superintendence' of Mr E. J. Phillips (Nelson); During the year eighty>eight ■ had been and about, fifty were now in preparation. The conference welcomed into the ministry the Revs. W. G. Carpenter, B. G. Corlett, G. and G. P. Cuttus. A deputation from the Ministers' Association, , including the Dean of Nelson (Dr. Weeks) and the Rev. Mr Blamires v extended congratulations to tile retiring president, and welcomed the incoming president, the Rev. David Cairns, Lower Hutt. \
