Ice fragments which came down from Luke Erie in great quantities became clogged below the Niagara Falls. and formed an ice bridge recently. Numbors of tourists made .excursions to the district, but because of the,mishap in 1912, when three persons lost their lives while trying to crossi the bridge, no one was allowed to set foot on it.
