MINIATURE RIFLE SHOOTING.
SUMNEK-EEDOLirFS CLTJB. The annual general meeting of the SumnerBedcliffe Miniature Rifle Club was held on Monday night, when there was a, fair attendance of members. The annual report, which was adopted, stated that the l>ast season Tiadi been very satisfactory. Electric lis;ht had been installed, while new rifles had been purchased. The membership roll totalled 63. The bal-ance-sheet showed a profit of £6 7* Od. Votes of thanks were. passed to the Lifeboat Brig-ade for the use of the room and also to the Tramway Board for the use of the range. v ' It was decided to open the season' pa April 22ud. A special committee, consisting of Messrs J. Hines, H. Reynolds, mid the president, was set up to go into the question of outside rifle shooting. The following officers were elected for the coming year:—Patron, the Hon. John Barr, M.L.0.; president. Mr C. M. Roswcll; vicepresident*, Mrs Kennedy, Messrs H. Rowe, A. B. Hines, J. Edmonds, A. C. Edmonds; committee, Messrs J. S. Williamson, A. B. Hines, J. E-imonds, J. Ellison; handicappors,' Messrs J. Edmonds, A. B. Hines, W. Horner; delegate to Aasociution, Mr J. J. Smith.
