Fine weather was experienced, and the attendance was about 3000. After the rain of the previous day the going was scmewhat greasy. Results:— Novice Handicap, five miles—R. George 1, R. New 2. W. The first reliability trials since 1913 are being held by the Wellington Motor-cycle Club, 33 riders competing. The route is from Wellington to Otaki, Shannon, and Palmcreton, returning via WcodviHe, JiKetahuna, Masterton, and Featherston. i» riders expect to arrive at Palmerston this evening, leaving there to-morrow &°™fl and arriving back at Wellington on Sunday evening.
