SATURDAY. (Before Mr H. Y. Widdowson, S.M.) - DHUNKENNESS. Hany William Syms, charged with dnmkenness, and a breach of {lis prohibition order, was fined 10s, in default 24 hours' imprisonment, on tho first charge, and 20s, in •default seven days' imprisonment, on tha second. JUVENILE COURT. A boy, who did not appear, was charged with tho- theft of two motor keys, valued at us. It was stated ho had received a whippin.? from the Probation Officer. Tho ensa was adjourned for ono week. A fifteen-year-old boy pleaded guilty to tha theft of postrrgo stamps valued at 15s, from i{. p. Manning and Co., merchants. T'u-i case was adjourned for & week in order teas tho Probation Officer's report might bo received.
A boy of tvrelvo years, whose mother said he had run away from homo in tho morning, was charged with boin? out of proper control. The charge was laid o» a result of his poor attendance at school. Tho Truant Officer said his attendance had been much better of late. His mother promised that ho would "be sent to school regularly. Tho charge was withdrawn.
