JUSTICES ASSOCIATION. A meeting of the executive of the Canterbury Justices of the Peat*' Aesociation was held . last night, Mr H. Holland presiding; Correspondence was read from the Wellington Justices Association, which the, secretary was. instructed to reply, to. Eighteen new members wero enrolled. EAST CHRISTCHURCH SCHOOL. A meeting of the East Chrietchuich School Committee was Wield on Monday, Mr Harvey presiding. Correspondence was received from the Board udvibing that llis* E. M. Clague. and Mies L. The chairman said it was with great regret he had received the resignation of Miss Chaplin, who hae accepted an appointment at the formal School.
