PUBLIC TRUST OFFICE PICNIC.
Yesterday being St Andrew's Day and a Government holiday, the staff of ths Public Trust Office held their annual picnic at Kairaki Beach. After ,'unch the party engaged in games and various kinds of sports on the hard and on the beach, and eonie very interesling races were run. The following ware the resuHs:

White (9yds) 3. Relay Bace—Account* division (Miss N. Seay, Miss E. R. Bushby, and Messrs C. E. Hov and F. L. Booth) 1. . After the afternoon tea adjournment, the local Deputv Puhdic Trustee (Mr A. R. Jordan) announced the prize-winners, at the tame time drawing attention to the creditable performance put up by Mr F. L. Booth, he haviag won the four principal events of the day, which entitled him to a special trophy. L. Gudsell also was the recipient of a special prize, he having gained the second highest number of points. During the trip back to Kaiapoi Mr Jordan presented the various winners with thoir prises. The party reached Cbristchurch about 1 p.m.
