• ' t It is understood {says the Westport News") that Mulholland and party, Seddonville, co-operative miners, have accepted a contract for supply of coal to the Government. The price is stated to be below that formerly ruling, but still ensuring good returns to the mining party. (PRESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.) GREYMOUTH, November 5. Arrangements have been made to resume work at the Dobson coal mine, previously suspended through a wages difficulty. Arrears of pay have been paid and a start has been made to put down a bore. It is hoped to strike the main seam within a week
