(PSESS ASSOCIATION TXLXGBAIi.j DUNEDIN, November 5. James R. Hayne appeared on remand on a charge of unlawfully using an instrument on Violet Ada Atkins. The Chief Detective announced the death of tho woman at Timaru that morning, which might involve a charge of murder. » The Magistrate remanded accused till November 10th at Dunedin, on the understanding that he would be further remanded to appear at Timaru on November 17th.
