Out soldiers made hosts of friends wherever they went across the «ea during the Great War, and at both ends of the world just now there nrtll doubtless be thoughts of the coming Christmas. What better Christmas CarJ could we send to our friends abroad than "'New Zealand Illustrated," this vear s Chrntmas issue of "The Weekly Press." It is really a beautiful Annual and the coloured supplement is peculiarly NewZealand. . The mails that will carry Christmas Greetings abroad in time to reach their destination before December 25th, will he sent by the Essex (direct), leaving here November 7th, the Kemuera (direct) leaving November 14th, and via Vancouver, November 12th.
