The same Tunner finished the mile with a fino sprint, lowering tbe record from 4min 59 3-oeec to 4min 48soc. A fifth record was G. Dickinson's putting the shot, Soft OJia. The old record was 34ft lliin. In an exhibition throw Dickinson r«»ch«d 36ft 3ifi. I. Jolly, in an exhibition cricket ball throw, reached 100 yds 2ft. HOP, STEP, AND JUMP RECORD.
