FOUK THOUSAND WAITING. (By Cable— Prett Aeeociation- -Copyright.) (Australian anH N.Z. Cai/'e Association.) (Received November 2nd, 9.5 p.m.) LONDON, November 1. About 4000 nominated emigrants are awaiting despatch to New (Zealand. The delay is largely attributable to infrequent sailings owing to the shortage of outward cargo. It is proposed to charter a ship to carry 900 in November, after which 500 a month will be sent out.
