MODEL YACHTING.
The race for the championship tad * prize of £3 Bs, presented by the president (Mr G. Humphreys), was continued at Lake Victoria on Saturday. The fifth and sixth heats were sailed in a strong nor'-easter, resulting in good times being registered. Nine boats competed, under the supervision of Captain Ekenstein. Besulte:— Fifth heat: Mr Matthews's Alpha 1, Mr Sohonkell'a Alert 2, Mr Firth's Oeo 8, Mr Oakes's Emerald Isle 4. lime, 82inin. Sixth heat: Alert 1, Mr Buxton's K.N. 2, Oeo 8, Emerald Isle 4. Tims, 81min, The-final heats will be sailed next Saturday:
