Tho Bangitikei County Council forwarded a resolution: "That County Councils be ex* empt from the operation of all Arbitration Court awards." ft was resolved to eupport tho resolution, and to a»k the member for the district for his support in securing the necessary legislation. The Woodville County Council wrote asking for eupport in protesting against the proposed f* for rural mail delivery. It wa* agreed to support the resolution. The tender of B. Topp was accepted for the cleaning of the Horsley Down, waterrace. It was resolved to haul broken metal into the Weka. Pa9s to repair the damage done by the recent rains. ,/■
