BLAZE AT NEW BRIGHTON. A lock-tin shopj one of a group of four recently erected In Sea View road, Naw Brighton, owned by Messrs Patterson Bros., and occupied by Mr C. flaig, draper, was destroyed by lire shortly after £ a.m. yesterday. The premises were (pitted, and the whole of tho contents destroyed. The adjoining shop suffered a fair wnount of damage. But for the efforts of tho Fire Brigade there is little doubt that tlie whole block, including the hotel, would have gone. The stock was insured in the Alliance Office for £7OO.
