LOYAL OITY OF' CHRISTCHURCH LODGE.

At the quarterly mating of the Loyal Citv of Christchurch Lodge, 1.0.0. F., M.U., the Deputy G.M., Bro. W. R. Gahagan, paid an official visit. The annual balance-sheet was presented by tho secretary, Bro. T. J. Archbold, who congratulated the lodge on the large increase of funds and members, tho membership being. 491, as against 486 the previous year. Tho sum of £2121 11a had been transferred to a surplus fund for the purpose of relieving! members over the age of 65 from paying further sick and funeral contributions. The total funds at the'. end of tho year were £23,171 4s 2d, of"which £19,210 was invested in! freehold securities earning an average interest of £6 2s 3d per cent. The trustees were thanked for the careful manner in which - they had dealt with the funds: £BBS had been paid for sick pay and. £4lO for funeral benefits. ' , i . ADDINGTON BURGESSES' ASSOCIATION. At ,tlie monthly meeting of the Adding ton Burgesses' Association Mr E. Downing was in tho chair. At the fortnightly meeting'of the Por.ieverim» Lodge of Druids, A.D. Bro. J. J. Smith presided. Correspondence was received from Bro. Hutt, (secretary R.A. Chapter, requesting the lodge to Efet apart some evening for ritual work. This was agreed to. An invitation from the Lily of Richmond to attend'tlie presentation of a Past D.P. collar to Bro. Conroy. D.P. Xo. 7, was. accepted. G. Lodge : epr&sjeintatiVfcs Bro. D. J. Smith, P.A., and J.C. Watson, P.D.P , gavo a full lejponl on the past G. Lodge session. Bro. Smith was elected to tho Board of Managenftant. Bro. W. Jones reported on tlw balance-sheet and business of the meeting of the Friendly Societies' Council. The report of the U.F.S. Dispensary meeting, and also the discussion on -the s>cial evenings was held over until next lodge night. PIONEER LODGE. Tlie Pioneer Lodge, No. 1, U.A.0.D., held its. fortnightly meeting during the week, A.D. Bro. J. E. Bowers presiding. Correspondence was received .from the Lily of Richmond Lodge, inviting.the A.D. Mid secretary to be present at tho presentation to Bro Conroy. Tho Bards reported *on the business under their- care, *iud the sum cf £l6 was passed for sick pay. The delegates to the D.G. Lodge meeting, U.F.S. Dispensary ei.nual meeting, U.F.S. Council annual meeting, L'.FjS. Benoraleni Association meeting, and tho Druid?' Gazette gave thai* reports, which were adopted. Two new members were initiated.

COURT STAB OF CAKTERBTJBY. At a meeting of Court Star of Canterbury No. 2309, A.0.F., Bro. T. Douglas presided. Reports were received from the Court's delegates to the Friendly Societies' Council Ben*; volent Association And Dispensary. The bal-ance-sheet was read by. the secretary.
