EASTEE CANTERBURY CHAMPIONSHIP.

The annual Easter Hard Court Championships of the Canterbury Lawn Tennis Association open this morning. The ladies' games will commence on the Avonside courts at 9 asm., and the men's on the Linwood courts at the eame hour. Entries to the cumber of over on© hundred have been received from all over the Dominion, end several cliampions will he playing, bo that the tournament should he a, very successful one, hoth from the points of view of playere and spectators.
