Thts are beautiful, veiy beautiful. The Coats The most marked departure lies in the absorption of the' Wrap effect by the Coat designers. While ample in fulness, there is no suggestion of bulkiness. Again, some Coats fall straight from the shoulders, with deep folds; others are full over the hips and tighten at foot, with large Wrap collars. Duvetyn, Velour and Eolivia Cloths, and Blanket Twoeda are favourites. The Costumes The new season brings simple styles, the three-quarter-length Coat being a feature of some aesigns. Luxurious in labric, striking in restraint, distinguished bv simplicity, these Costumes provide a tempting array. Silverton, Bolivia, Velour, Box and Face Cloths, etc., in bronze, bottle green, wine, saxe, fawn, brown, and other shades. The Blouses Designers favour the Jumper,- introducing a new tied Scarf effect at the back. A new fabric, Nonette, plays her part. Simple braid- tracery and elaborate embroidery are seen side by 6ide. Dull gold and gold are effectively used on some of the garments. Among the Blouses open for inspection to-day are seen pretty things in begonia, flame, lime, lichen,' and sage. The Hats Hats that add to the name of fame of Beath's as the Millinery Style Centre. Paris is represented by productions from the ateliers of Hermance, Mario I-ancret, Jeaune Due, and Helcne Julia. " Vogue " Hats of distinction, and " Gaffe" Hats come from America. Styles are new, shapes are many and varied, mounts and colour combinations artistic and clever. Warm shades of brown, nigger, henna, royal (i molo and black are among the •new Hats. > The Frocks Fashioned beautifully are the Evening Frocks, finished with exquisite care, each one a masterpiece, exclusive.
