As a result of the watersiders> decision not to work after 5 p.m., the departures of the Opawa, Kuamne, and To Anau for coastal parts have been delayed. No wort was done to-day on th Otarama, which arrived from Liverpool yesterday, as no men responded to the call for labour. Discussing the position, a prominent member of the union said that while the decision not to work after 5 p.m. was constitutional, it was, in effect, the introduction of the' gjxlow policy.
