A NOVEL SUGGESTION.
* STEAMER AS FLOATING HOSTEL.A suggestion Qias been made that the steamer Tr.kapuna, which has been anchored in Wellington harbour for many months, should be brought to ~tho breastwork and converted into a hostel for young men (says the "New Zealand Times")- It is stated that accommodation coxild be provided for a comparatively large number on the vessel, and by utilising it for tho object named, a considerable amount of relief would be occasioned in the city, where accommodation is difficult to procure.
