As tho Minister had stated that it was tho intention of the Department to amend the ' present regulations dealing with tho election and appointment of managers of technical schools, the committee recommended that tho following resolution should be forwarded to the Department ;-r-"That the amount of representation allowed by the present regulations seems reasonable, but the basis of such tion should be changed to insure local interest." i Tho report was adopted. . Messrs Andrews and Banks reported on i their visit to Port Levy and Pigeon Bay School sites, and recommended the purchase of a corner section of about two acres. Mr Feverill criticised the site selected. The re-, port was adopted. • " The Rangiora Sohool Committee wrote asking for more representation on the Board. The letter was received. The Department notified tho Board that Mr Smyth had boen appointed an additional physical instructor. ■,
