Apparently they were well pleased, for they ceased looking' round. But Thomas had the "wanderlust," and commenced his world wanderings by going to ■ Alaska. Since then ha- has boon in all the remote and lonely corners of the world. When war broke. out ho hirrled him®olf into the Palestine campaign. At the request of President Wilson's Government ho went to Entopa as an observer, out finding, after visiting the Italian armies. 'hat aa he thought i a decisive campaign was being* fought in the East, ho went there.
