THE ALLIES' OPERATIONS.

By the occupation of Broussa tho Greeks link up the British and Greek front, thus freeing tho whole of the seaboard of tho bSea of Marmora, and dissipating Kemal Pasha's hope of attacking tne Dardanelles and Constantinople. It is reported that a split, has oo ' curred in tlie Nationalist ranks. The Kurdish chiefs in the Yozgad region are leading a counter-movement. Peasants in the interior murdered several prominent Nationalists. (Australian and N.Z. Cable association.) CONSTANTINOPLE, July 11. It is rumoured that Field-Marshal Allenby, with headquarters at Prim kipo, will be the Commandor-in-Chief of the forces engaged against the Kenialists. THE GREEK WAY. < (Received July 12th, 5.5 p.m.) CONSTANTINOPLE. July 12. The Greeks have given the Kemalists a drastic-lesson. They executed great numbers of prisoners taken after the fall of Balikossar, on the ground that the troops were irregulars, and must be regarded as bandits. Only 100 were spared for trial. THE TURKISH TREATY. SPA, July 11. Minor changes were made in tho Turkish Treaty, which will be present'ed to the Turks on July 17th. The Turkish signature will be required within ten days.
