THE PRINCE'S ACCIDENT.

The Prime Minister recently sent the following telegram to the "Prince of Wales: "On behalf of the Government and people of New Zealand I send your Royal Higiincss our fervent and heartiest congratulations on your providential escape in the recent railway accident."

Mr Massey has received the following reply from Kalgoorlie: "My grateful thanks to Government and people cf New Zealand for their kind telegram.—(Sgd.) Edward P."
