DANCE AT HAWARDEN.

After a lapse of five years tue spinsters of the- district held a most enjoyable l<J a P year dance iu Ike Ha warden Ha.ll on May •2Gth, and it wsj very largely attended from nil parts of the district. Hi? fca.il Y a3 tastefully decor'ted with evergreens, berries, and flowers. The duties of M.C.'b were in the hands of Mioses Kay, Lowe, and Boyle, and were particularly well carried out. Great credit is duo to the secretary, M:ss Eileen Butler, who 'with her assistants (.Ui'ses Doyl'j and Mcßride) and the committee worked strenuously in providing one ol th.o most successful balls yet held in the district. A delicious supper was provided, the tables being prettily decorated with fre-li flowcre, autumn leaves, and palms. Well's Baud sispplied the music.
