PROPOSED REVISION. (Bv Pr«M Association— l CopvTigil.) (Australian and N.Z. Cablo Association.) OTTAWA, November 25. Canadian manufacturers asked tho Federal Government to nppoint a permanent Advisory Committee to investigate and readjust tho tariff in order to meet tho changing conditions at homo and abroad. They also roauestod that the proposed revision, following the Federal C'abinot's enquiry, 6hould bo postponed. Tno Government assented to the first request, but refused the other, claiming that thoy had pledged themselves to tariff revision in tho next session of Parliament, and would carry ont th« promise.
