THE AUSTRALIAN SUBMARINES.

TO THS KDITOR OF "THE ITIESS." Sir, —Having road your sub-leader on th© oxploits of Commander Boyle, who is now in chargc of tho Australian submarines, I venture to suggest that a visit from that officer with a submarine would bo very suitable at the time Admiral Jeliicoe is visiting us. Tho under-water warfare has been so varied and momentous that I am sure the people of New Zealand would appreciate the chance of seeing Commander Boyle with one of his "Infants." — Yours, etc., J. H. NEWLYN.
