HEATING STATE SCHOOLS.
TO THE EDITOR OF "TITB PRESS." Sir, —Can you tell me who is responsible for the arranging of fires in our State schools. Is it the schoolmaster, tho chairman, or the caretaker P Today (Wednesday) is one of tho warmest days we have had for some time, and yet when my children came home for dinner, they complained of the big firo in the schoolroom this morning. Jnsfc fancy, fires on a day like this, and yofe all through the very cold weather, » week ago, wo road that some schools had to bo closed, because there was no coal. Purely tins is most inconsistent, and a matter that wants looking into by the proper authorities.—Yours, etc., KEDICUIXHJS.
