Discussing the present position of the last Victory War Loan of £10.000 000. the Acting-Minister of Finance (the Hon. A. M. Myers) stated that since his notification in November last that, the Treasury were prepared accept voluntary, subscriptions, an average of £-100.ODO' per month had been leceived. so m to the present time nearly £2.."00,000 liatl boon subscribed. The Miriistci ad-fed that the Treasury Department were still prepared to accept amounts, hut of course the compulsory clauses would hp broucht into operation should it he found that taxpayers not subscribing according to the amounts specified in the Finance Act. ______________
