TRUNK ROUTES FIXED. (By Cable.—Press Asflor:.v*ion.—Copyright.) (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) (Received April 27th, 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, April 25. The Air Ministry has fixed the following seven trunk routes for civilian flying, which begins on May Ist: London to Scotland, Dublin, Belfast, Plymouth. and Bristol; also a Continental route from Lympne aerodrome (Kent), and a Dutch route from Hadleigh (Essex). One hundred and twenty aerodromes are available for civilian flying, and the Air Ministry contemplates selling a hundred others. A number of coastal stations, also London, aro reserved for foreign traffic in order to enforce the Customs examination. The. Government retains the sole power to license machines and pilots. THE ATLANTIC FLIGHT. (Received April 27th, 5.5 p.m.) LONDON. April 25. The Air Ministry denies a report from St. John's alleging that it sent n message enquiring why Hawker and Raypham had not started, in view of the favourable conditions.
