PAINT STORE GUIDE.
DAMAGE TOTALS £10,000. (PBESS ASSOCIATION TELEC.RAMS.) WELLINGTON. April 25. A fire broke out to-night iu a twostoreyed brick building in Lower Taranaki street, used by T. A. Wells as a paint store. The building was completely gutted, and tho stock of paints, wallpapers, etc., which was valued at £10,000, totally destroyed. The insurances on the stock arc:—Guardian £3000, Phmnix £2f)CO, South British £1800. The building, which was held on leaso from tho estate of the late William Fox, was insured for £800.
