The sittings of the Kortli "aland Grand "Lodge of Druids commenced this evening, delegates being present from all parts of the ' North Island and tho West Coast. The balance-sheets showed that the funeral fnnd had a credit of £39,200; the management fund showed a slight loss on the year's working; the special funeral fund showed a .credit balance. -> The'amount paid out«in special funeral % claims during the year was £53,438, of which ' no less than £6000 was due to tho epidemic. :■ The membership at the end of the year waa approximately 3760.
