CENTRE CHAMPIONSHIPS

A start will bo made on Saturday with tho Champion of Champions competitions of the Chriatchurch Centre of the Dominion Bowling Association. Seventeen clubs are engaged in each competition, eo that 'lie I first round in each will consist of one game only, the remainder of the clubs having byes: The first round of the links and doubles will W played on the Edgeware green, commencing at 9.30 a.m. The second round will be started at noon, and will bo followed by the third round, the rinke playing at Edgeware and tho doubles on a green to lie arranged. In a number of caees tho same players are engaged in both events, so it will be impossible to go, on with all the games in both competitions simultaneously. The executive has decided that rinks ehaJl take preference, play in the doubles to be gone on with as the players become available. The following ia the draw:— ; RINKS. ■ First Bound.
