AGAINST BOLSHEVIKS.
FRENCH VETERANS ON THE TRAIL. NEW YORK, Decembor 3." Thirty-nino French officors and 400 votcrans from the tank, aviation and armed automobile sections of the French army have arrived at San Francisco, on route to to join tho Allied forces against the Bolsheviks. The party includes Colonel Louis Voisin (commander), Major N. Lassies (member of the French Chamber of Deputies), Lieutenant Robert Barat, and Henry Montach, "Aces," and Lieutenant Louis Godfrey, .the noted Spadflyer. The "Daily Ledger" (Tacoma), in - an editorial, says:—"Tho Lenin and Ttotsky regime of' murder and pillage is near failure. Terrorism is kept in power solely by the ragamuffins of the city slums. The. peasantry that listened to tho gilded promises of the propagandists havo grown wise through hunger and sated with cruelty. When the German friends of Bolshevism have all gone out of Russia thero will bo no fighters left to stand between Lenin and tho gallows. Under'Vologodsky's guidance all other Provincial Governments have set uo in opposition to Bolshevik tyranny. Thero conservative, constitutional GovernSocialist, Cossack, and militarist Governments," and even here and there the surviving friends of the bureaucracy are firmly held together by a common hatred of Bolshevism. Out of this fusion a new Russia will.arise." Tho American Alliance for Labour and Democracy at an executive meeting adopted resolutions opposing tho brand of Socialism known as Bolshevism."
