Bran and pollard are .short, of requirement's. ■ Actual supplies-of chaff are _no bettor. Old -chaff is scarce, but tho-demand is lov:er at this time of the year, and there is every proßpcct of much _beiWt supplies during the coming year. Marlborough, new chaff is quoted for forward delivery at slightly lower rates. Old is worth £16 to £'17 here. , . an The scarcity of maizo continues, and aIJ supplies to hand are eagerly ttlcea up. TW price is about 8s to 8s 3d on the wharf. The scarcity of fowl wheat will probablj cause a continued demand ioi maize.
