THE KING'S GOOD WISHES
(PRESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.) WELLINGTON, December 26. Tho following message has been received hyv the Governor-General from his Majesty the King:— "BUCKINGHAM PALACE, Another Christmas has come round and we are no longer fighting. God has blessed your efforts. The Queen and I offer you our heartfelt good wishes for a happy Christmas, and many brighter years to come. "To tho disabled, sick, and wounded we send a special greeting, praying that with roturnine health you may be comforted and cEeered by the vision of those good days of t>eaee for which you have sacrificed so much. GEORGE, R. 1."
