MAGISTERIAL. (Before Mr T. A. B. Bailey, S.M.) DRUNKENNESS. Win, Eckford, a third offender, was convicted and discharged. "Win. Howoll, charged with drunkenness and a breach of his prohibition order, was filled 6b on tho charge of drunkenness, and ordered lo come up for sentence when called upon daring the next six months on tho second charge. REMANDED. Murray Matthews, charged with being an idle i,nd disorderly person,, was remanded till the 18th inst. Leslie J. Mullaney, on a charge of embezzlement, was further remanded until the 22nd iust., bail being allowed. ASHBUHTON. (Before Mr V. G. Day, S.M.) G. H. Rook© was convicted and ordered to pay costs on a chargo o{ a breach of his prohibition order. v "Prank Anthony, H. C. Robjohne, and E. P. Tumor wero each fined 20b and costs for exceeding tho speed limit. C. Collins wa« convicted ond_ ordered to pay costs for failing to have his motor-car properly numbered. In tho civil base J. Milliohamp (Mr Orbell) r Thomas Harney, claim_ £1 12a 6d, judgment was given for plaintiff with costs. Judgment wa« given for plaintiffs with oosts in Tuckers, Limited (Mr Orbell) v. Richard and Arthur Bennison, claim £7 2e. T. Blunden claimed £3, H. C Jay £8 Is, and O. T. Clarko £11 19s from 'Nicholas Fitzgerald (Mr Buchanan). Certain moneys had been paii into Court, and as none of the plaintiff) appeared the tases were struck out, and defendant was allowed expenses for four witnesses. Xii re the National Mortgage and Agency Company (Mr Buchanan) v. W. J. "Ward, claim £3 5s Bd, judgment w?s given for plaintiffs by default.
