Maugham (Hariey Davidson) was the star performer, his phenomenal nding being a ieature of ! the meeting, winning the Lignt-lap i Open fioiu scratch, Ten-inp Open from | scratch, and second fiom scratch in tho Filteen-lap Open, being beaten by the : narrowest margin alter conceding the winner, Dav.uer (Indian), OOsec. Ihe meeting erf such champions as Maugham. (Joleman, Crawley, \\ liiicneuU, Dav.ber and others, was watched witn the kceneot in iciest. The Hariey Davidson trio, Jlah o li..ui, Crawley and White - head, carried tho honours of the uay.
