Sir,—On behalf of the Seventh Day Adventist denomination, I would esteem it a favour if you would kindly permit me to correct, through your columns, any wrong impressions that may haye been cawed through the attitude of one of our adherents at the court-martial held in King Edward Barracks on the otb inst. As showing our relationship toward the po wers-that-be in this present gravß crisis, I will quote a resolution passed) by us as a denomination early in the war: - "Resolved, that we hereby define what is and has ever been our denominational attitude towards, military service. That, as loyal citizens, we will conform to all the requirements of the Government as long as they do not conflict with the law of, God, that is, we will perform at any time, except on the Sabbath of the Lord _(from sunset on Friday till sunset ow Saturday) noncombatant service which may be ixaposed on ns by law."—Yours, etc., H.
