: ♦— THE FUNERAL. The attend&nce at the funeral of the late Mr G. W. darkson yesterday morning was a larg<s dttd representative one, and testified to the high esteem in which the deceased gentleman was held by a wide circle of friends, especially amongst thes© .connected with, the frozen meat export trade atad those interested in stock. Many beautiful wreaths covered the casket. Tho interment was ut the liiccarton churchyard, and the services in the church (at the conclusion Of which the "Dead March", in "Saul was played by Mr W.
