FRENCH OFFICIAL REPORT. (Australian and N.Z. Cablo Association.) (Renter's Telegrams.) LONDON, October 31. A French Eastern communique states: — The Serbian cavalry have reached the Danube, east of Smederevo, and have occupied Pozharevatz. The enemy is retreating headlong. We have reached the front of Milanovatz-Topola-Palanka, and are forty-five miles from Belgrade. AUSTRIAN OFFICIAL MESSAGE. (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) (Reutcr's Telegrams.) LONDON, October 31. An Austro-Hungarian official message states: — The eastornwing of our forces operating in Serbia has already crossed to the northward bank of the Danube. Our march to the rear on t' o Save and the Drina continues. The enemy is nowhere following.
