In the House of Commons, Mr Stanley Baldwin, Financial Secretary to the Treasury, stated that the National Debt outstanding on September 30tli was approximately £fi,875,000,C00. In the House of Commons, at Mr Dillon's request, the Government allotted Tuesday for a discussion on a motion favouring the application of President Wilson's fourteen points to Ireland.
