SUMMARY AND FORECAST. High uest and south-west winds and cloudy and unsettled weather have prevailed generally. Th« barometer has been unetotdy. Present indications are for moderate to strong soutli-weal winds, veering to northerliea shortly, and then increasing. ' Tho weather is likely t'» bo changeable and equally generally with heavy showers, especially in the West Coast and southernmost district*.
