AQUATICS.

UNION ROWING CLUB. The fifty-sccond annual meeting of th"i CJnion Rowing Club was held at the club's Doftthouse last evening. Mr D. Lee (presilent) occupicd the chair, and there, was a jood attendance of members. The adoption of the annual report and bal-moe-sheet, a summary of which has been ilready published, wag moved by the chairman, who congratulated the cl*:b on Ha sound financial position, and appealed to members to co-operate in making the club's soming season a successful one from a rowing ia well as from a social point of view. Tha motion was seconded by Mt F. D. Kesteven, md carried unanimously without discussion. The election of offioecrs resulted as follows:—President, Mr D. tee; vice-presi-lents, the Hon. C. Louisson, Messrs F. E. Hyman, and F. S. Otley; captain, Mr F. D ■ Ke&teven; deputy-captain, Mr G. H. Hobbs, lionorary secretary, Mr a. Loytoa; honorary treasurer, Mr G. L. Berry; manageme .t committee, Messrs F. Booth, B. E. Boag, W. Duggan, G. Ebert, n. K. Mansfield, J. Pierson, and A. Walker racing committee, Messrs W. Duggan, (j. H. Hobbs, and F. D. Kesteven; delegate to Canterbury Athlet'c Clubs' Protection Afeoc:«t;on, Mr H. Layton; delegates to Canterbury Rowing Association, Me«srs F. D. Kesteven and G. H. Hobbs; honorary auditors, Messrs C. J. Atkinson and A. Donaldson.
