Northerly winds have prevailed, and freshened generally. The barometer has fallen everywhere, and cloudiness lias increased. Considerable rain ia now reported on the West Coast of the South Island. Expect cloudy and unsettled weather, with rain following generally, snow on the higher levels, rivers flooded in Weatland and Otago, and the barometer falling everywhere, but rising in the South in about 20 hours.
