9 A meeting of the commit too of the North Canterbury Gun CiuT> was held last evening at Ranjpora, Mr J. Skillinsj presiding. Tho balance-sheet of th® Grand National shoot showed that the receipts were £232 3s, and the expenditure £152 15s 3d, leaving a credit balance of £79 7a 9d. It was decided to divide £40 of the profits equally between. tho Kangiora Ked Cross and the Lady Liverpool Fund. The balance-sheet of the Bonehill Gun Sweep showed a credit balanoe of £10 Is lid. It was resolved that persona joining th® club must be members for ono month before being "to ehoot in club matches. It was decided to hold a sparrow and clay pigeon match on December 2Stk tor club members for prizes of £2, £1, and 10s, also i, club championship shoot on October 12th to close the season, the champion prize to be a sold medal.
