SUMMARY AND FORECAST. Wintry weather has prevailed, but an improvement lias taken place in many parts to-d«y. Strong south-westerly winds have ruled, and the barometer has ri&ai everywhere. Present indications ar© for strong southwesterly to eo"til-easterly winds, weather cold and changeable, with scattered showers.
